The Nelson County Chamber of Commerce held its 59th Annual Membership Dinner at the Carriage House at Oak Ridge Estate on Tuesday, October 21st. This is always an event the business community and Chamber members look forward to. Union Bank and Piedmont Virginia Community College were co-sponsors again this year.
This year, the Nelson County Chamber of Commerce recognized six additional Businesses celebrating 50 years or more in business. They included Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, Colleen Drive In, Colleen Exxon & Convenience, Craig Construction Company, Critzer Family Farm, Mac’s Country Store and the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company/Nelson County Farm Bureau.
There was a live auction with Auctioneer Stillie Mason, a 50/50 and a silent auction.
The Lovingston Cafe catered this event at the Carriage House at Oak Ridge Estate.
